At OUT ON THE DOWNS, we’re passionate about helping young people grow through outdoor adventure. Based in Sevenoaks and primarily operating across the South of the UK we currently support youth groups, schools, and other DofE Approved Activity Providers (AAPs) with high-quality expedition delivery at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.

What We Offer
Expedition Support for Youth Groups & Schools
We provide experienced, qualified staff to assist with planning, training, supervision, and assessment of DofE expeditions. Whether you need a full package or just additional instructors, we’re here to help.
Subcontracting for AAPs
We regularly work with other AAPs to deliver safe, engaging, and rewarding expeditions. Our flexible approach means we can slot into your programme where needed.
Outdoor Learning & Skills Training
We also offer outdoor learning days, navigation training, and first aid courses to help young people prepare for their expedition and beyond.
DofE Approved Activity Provider (AAP)
We are a licensed DofE Approved Activity Provider (AAP), offering complete expedition packages for schools, youth groups, and organisations. Whether you’re looking for Bronze, Silver, or Gold level support, we can provide a tailored solution — from training and practice expeditions to full assessed journeys.
