A Sponsored Walk with a Difference!
Each year, we invite schools and PTAs to take part in The Mighty Hike — a professionally guided mountain adventure designed as a sponsored walk for students, families, and school communities.
Unlike traditional fundraising walks, The Mighty Hike takes participants to one of the UK’s iconic peaks, offering a real mountain experience with the safety and support of qualified mountain leaders. Parents walk alongside their children, creating a shared challenge that builds resilience, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
A New Peak Every Year
We keep things fresh and exciting by choosing a different mountain each year:
- 2023 – Ben Nevis
- 2024 – Snowdon
- 2025 – Scafell Pike
Whether you’re a school looking to raise funds or a PTA planning a unique community event, The Mighty Hike is a turnkey adventure that combines outdoor education, physical challenge, and fundraising impact.
Timing & Age Suitability
The Mighty Hike is primarily aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils, but we’re always happy to consider any age group. Having personally led my own son — aged just 5 — up all three national peaks, I understand how slowly young people move and how important it is to give them time.
That’s why we pay our guides for a longer day, ensuring:
- No one is rushed
- Children are given every opportunity to succeed
- Encouragement and support are constant
- The experience remains positive and empowering
We tailor the pace to the group, making sure every child feels safe, supported, and proud of their achievement.
