Alternative Provision in Outdoor Education

What Is Alternative Provision?

Alternative Provision (AP) supports pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to exclusion, illness, or other challenges. Our outdoor AP pathway uses nature-based activities to promote:

  • Personal development
  • Social and emotional wellbeing
  • Academic engagement
  • Physical activity and resilience

Our Vision

We aim to offer inclusive, therapeutic, and accredited outdoor experiences for young people in need of alternative education pathways. Programmes may include:

  • Forest school sessions
  • Bushcraft and adventure-based learning
  • Navigation and leadership development (e.g., DofE, NNAS, Lowland Leader)
  • Nature-based wellbeing activities

Who We Work With

We are exploring partnerships with:

  • Local schools and SENDCOs
  • Local authorities in Kent and Surrey
